ABOUT VILLIN
Villin is a Brazilian hard rock and heavy metal studio project, initiated in 2021 in São Paulo by Guilherme Araujo. The band combines the sounds of traditional heavy metal with 80s hard rock, as well as elements of progressive rock and modern rock.From 2018 to 2019, Guilherme was part of a metal band called "Amintor," where he gained stage experience and developed his skills in creating, ideating, and composing music. However, the ideas from this band do not influence Villin's work.In 2019, Guilherme participated in the Coca-Cola band at Rock in Rio, playing two cover songs at Cidade do Rock.Villin was founded in 2021 with the release of their first EP, "Do You Remember?", featuring two tracks recorded in a home studio in São Paulo. Each song had a different vocalist, specifically chosen to suit the vocal style required by the track. This recording model served as the foundation for the band's future album.In 2022, Guilherme played as a guitarist in the Rockin' 1000 band in São Paulo, performing a full show at Allianz Parque arena, playing rock and metal classics.In 2024, Villin released their first full-length studio album, following the same recording format as the 2021 EP. Guilherme recorded all the guitar, bass, and synthesizer parts in a home studio, while the vocals were assigned to specifically selected vocalists for each track. Additionally, the album features solos, bass, piano, choir, and drums from other guest musicians, adding layers and enriching each song as needed.

Villin é um projeto de estúdio brasileiro de hard rock e heavy metal, iniciado em 2021 em São Paulo por Guilherme Araujo. A banda combina os sons do heavy metal tradicional com o hard rock dos anos 80, além de elementos de rock progressivo e rock moderno.De 2018 a 2019, Guilherme fez parte de uma banda de metal chamada "Amintor", onde adquiriu experiência de palco e desenvolveu suas habilidades de criação, ideação e composição de músicas. No entanto, as ideias desta banda não influenciam o trabalho da Villin.Em 2019, Guilherme participou da banda da Coca-Cola no Rock in Rio, tocando duas músicas cover na Cidade do Rock.Villin foi fundada em 2021 com o lançamento do primeiro EP, "Do You Remember?", contendo duas faixas gravadas em home studio em São Paulo. Cada música contou com um vocalista diferente, selecionado especificamente para atender ao estilo vocal requerido pela canção. Este modelo de gravação serviu de base para o futuro álbum da banda.Em 2022, Guilherme participou como guitarrista da banda Rockin' 1000 em São Paulo, realizando um show completo na arena Allianz Parque, tocando clássicos do rock e metal.Em 2024, Villin lançou seu primeiro álbum completo de estúdio, seguindo o mesmo formato de gravação do EP de 2021. Guilherme gravou todas as partes de guitarra, baixo e sintetizadores em home studio, enquanto os vocais foram atribuídos a vocalistas selecionados especificamente para cada faixa. Além disso, o álbum conta com solos, baixo, piano, coral e bateria de outros músicos convidados, adicionando camadas e enriquecendo cada música conforme necessário.
